X-Session, Unfiltered

There are no dates this weekend to tell you about — our next gigs are Friday December 5 at Napper Tandy’s, 275 RT 25A, Miller Place, and Saturday December 6 at Matty T’s Roadhouse, 356 Commack Road, Deer Park — but in the spirit of the holiday this week I wanted to send you all a special thank you for your support throughout the year. To paraphrase my friend John Blenn, “without you we’re just four guys in a basement somewhere getting on each other’s nerves!” I know I also speak for Ed, Jim, and Joe in wishing all of you a healthy and a happy Thanksgiving.

Also, in addition to the aforementioned dates in early December, we close out 2008 with a date at Sunset Grill, 4068 Sunrise Hwy, Seaford on Saturday December 13 and a Christmas Party Happy Hour at Napper Tandy’s, 15 E. Main Street, Smithtown on Friday December 19.

Once again have a wonderful holiday, I’ll talk to you next week.

Though our upcoming schedule is heavily populated with private parties as we move toward the holidays, we have a couple of public dates this weekend at a pair of Napper Tandy’s.

On Friday, November 14, we’re at Napper Tandy’s, 275 RT 25A, Miller Place, for a happy hour that commences at about 7:30.

Then, on Saturday the 15th, we return to Napper Tandy’s, 229 Laurel Avenue, Northport for the first time in about 3 years. This one has a 10 PM start.

Our next dates following these are in December: a return to Napper’s Miller Place on Friday, December 5–a change from the December 12 that’s listed on the website–and a date at Matty T’s Roadhouse on Saturday, December 6.

In other news, we played a private party this past weekend in which we dressed as Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. There are a few photos of it on our website thanks to some quick work by our own Eddie Profet and the High Aspirations people. The only public dates that we have in the month of November are all at Long Island’s various Napper Tandy’s locations.  

It begins with a Happy Hour this Friday, November 7, at Napper Tandy’s, 15 E. Main Street, Smithtown, at 7 PM.

It continues with yet another Happy Hour at Napper Tandy’s, 275 RT 25A, Miller Place, from 7:30ish until 11:30 on Friday November 14.

And it concludes on Saturday the 15th, when we return to Napper Tandy’s, 229 Laurel Avenue, Northport, for the first time in many moons. Please note that this is NOT a happy hour but a Saturday night gig from 10 PM until 2.
