Sorry for the extra e-mail but, concerning the Jones Beach Bandshell gig this Saturday,  I wanted to let you know that while there is limited bleacher seating around the edge of the bandshell area, you are free to bring your own beach chairs as there is ample room for them.  Also, the Jones Beach website mentions that you must be 21 or older to drink.  There is a concession stand near the bandshell on the boardwalk that I have to assume sells beer.  I couldn’t find any info about bringing your own. See you there.

On Saturday night, August 1, we’ll be at the Jones Beach bandshell as a make-up for the date we lost last week due to rain. To get to the Bandshell, park in Field 4, walk through the tunnel to the Boardwalk and go to the right. We get started at about 7:30.

On Sunday August 2, we’re at JC’s, 2 Country Club Dr., Manorville. We’ll be outdoors on the covered deck from 4 PM until 8.

The following weekend brings us back to Claudio’s for a date on Saturday (as opposed to our usual Sunday) August 8 at 2 PM and to Hudson & McCoy in Freeport on Sunday August 9 at 6PM.

And speaking of Claudio’s I just got home from a thoroughly enjoyable gig there a little while ago and frankly I’m pooped so I’ll call it a night.

Tonite’s gig at the Jones Beach Bandshell has been cancelled due to rain.  We are working on a possible make-up date.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

There’s a rare Thursday night gig for us this week and it’s at the Jones Beach Bandshell, on the boardwalk near Field 4, on July 23 at about 7:30 PM. There is no charge for either admission or parking and I believe there is bleacher-type seating there. Should be fun.

On Saturday evening, July 25, we celebrate our own young buck Joe DeJesu’s birthday with a gig at  Tide Runners, 7 North Rd., Hampton Bays. We play from 6:30 until 9:30.

Finally, we return to Claudio’s, 111 Main Street, Greenport on Sunday afternoon, July 26, from 2 PM until 6.

There are no public dates coming up this weekend, but I wanted to remind you that we will be playing at the Jones Beach Bandshell on Thursday night, July 23rd, at 7:45 PM. To get to the bandshell, park in Field 4 and walk through the tunnel to the boardwalk, the bandshell is on your right. There is no charge for this event.

And while I’m here I may as well mention that we return to Tide Runners in Hampton Bays on Saturday, July 25 at 6:30 PM and that we’re at Claudio’s in Greenport on Sunday the 26th at 2 PM.

We’re hoping for a rain-free night in Freeport on Friday, July 10, so we can get our in our first date of the year at Hudson & McCoy, 340 Woodcleft Avenue. We’re going to play from 7 PM until 11.

After a private affair on Saturday, we return to JC’s Restaurant, 2 Country Club Dr., Manorville on Sunday afternoon, July 12. We’ll be playing on the covered outdoor deck there, so it’s a rain-or-shine gig from 4 PM until 8.

The rest of the non-private dates in July are a date at the Jones Beach Bandshell –the one by Field 4 — on Thursday July 23rd at 7:45 PM, Tide Runners in Hampton Bays on Saturday July 25th from 6:30 ’til 9:30, and finally a return to Claudio’s on Sunday afternoon, July 26.
