This just in. Due to a weather forscast this Saturday calling for temperatures in the mid 80′s, the four members of X-Session will be playing this Saturday, May 1, at Hudson & McCoy, 340 Woodcleft Ave., Freeport from 6 ’til 10 PM. Hope to see you there.

I’m playing my customary Thursday-night gig at Greek Delight, 2601 Merrick Rd., Bellmore this Thursday, April 29, at 7 PM.
On Friday, May 7, Eddie, Joe and myself — aka XXX — will be at The Fishery,1 Main St., East Rockaway, beginning at 10 PM. I don’t know whether this will be outdoors or in, I suppose it depends on the weather. I do know that they have music thru the winter here, so the date is definitely NOT weather-permitting.
And it pleases me to write that on Saturday, May 8, X-Session plays at Matty T’s, 356 Commack Rd., Deer Park. This is also a 10 PM start.
On a personal note, I did an interview with the editor of Bellmore Life — the local Bellmore newspaper — for a piece in their entertainment section that comes out this Wednesday. I hope the interviewer knew I was kidding when I said that “in X-Session I’m the ‘straw that stirs the drink!’”
And finally, I’d like to close the week with a list of our dates this summer at Claudio’s. Many of you have e-mailed me privately to ask for these dates, here you go:
Saturday May 29, 1:30 PM; Sunday June 6, 2 PM; Saturday July 3, 2 PM; Sunday July 11, 2 PM; Sunday August 1, 2 PM; Saturday August 21, 2 PM, Saturday, September 4, 2 PM: Saturday September 25, 1:30 PM.
