X-Session, Unfiltered

X-Session returns to Napper Tandy’s, 15 E. Main St., Smithtown, on Friday evening, March 30. We start at 7 PM.

On Wednesday, March 28th, our own Eddie Profet will be taking part in a “Songwriters-in-the-round” night at Matty T’s, 356 Commack Rd., Deer Park. Ed will be performing solo, acoustic versions of some of his original tunes and alternate doing so with several other Long Island songwriters. The show begins at 8 PM and there is an acoustic open mic afterwards at about 10 PM. There is a 6 dollar cover.

And I’ll see you this and every Thursday evening at about 6:30 PM when I play solo at Greek Delight, 2601 Merrick Rd., Bellmore.

X-Session takes the stage at Matty T’s Roadhouse, 356 Commack Rd., Deer Park, on Friday March 2nd at 9:30 PM. Matty’s features friendly staff, friendly regulars, a nice sounding room, and a reasonable ($8.00) cover. Come check it out.

I (Pat) play solo at Greek Delight, 2601 Merrick Rd., Bellmore on Thursdays March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 this month at 6:30 PM. I’ll also be at RS Jones, 153 Merrick Ave., Merrick on Wednesday March 7th at 7 PM and at La Bottega, 4883 Merrick Rd., Massapequa Park, on Wednesdays March 14th and 28th at 6:30.

Weeknight X-Session gigs come around about as often as a solar eclipse, but there’s one this Thursday evening, February 23rd. We’ll be debuting at Manhattan Lounge, 324 Sunrise Highway, Rockville Centre. It’s an early gig as well as a short one — we’re playing from 7:30 until 9:30. As we would like to get this Nassau location for weekend dates in the future, a good turnout here would be most helpful.

Also, on Friday March 2nd, we’ll be back at Matty T’s, 356 Commack Rd., Deer Park, from 9:30 until 1:30.

And I have a solo gig this Wednesday, February 22nd at La Bottega, 4883 Merrick Rd., Massapequa, from 6:30 until 9. I will NOT be at my usual Thursday night gig at Greek Delight this week–see paragraph one above–but will be back there on Thursday March 1st .
